About the Role
Transit Bus Operator Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, provide safe, efficient, and on time
service through the operation of motor vehicles/transit buses as assigned. Must make simple and complex decisions
regarding emergency, traffic, and customer services situations quickly. Ability to deal with stressful situations and
drive safely despite distractions, including two-way radio conversations and passenger conversations/questions.
Duties/Responsibilities Operates buses to transport passengers over established routes (transit routes, campus
connector, Access, Medi-Cat, misc.) according to set time schedules as assigned. Stops at designated points to load
