About the Role

At Closets by Design , a CNC Operator (often titled as a Machine Operator or Shop Technician ) is responsible for

manufacturing custom home organization systems, including closets, home offices, and garage cabinetry. Unlike general

metalworking roles, this position focuses heavily on woodworking and nested-base processing of sheet goods like melamine

and plywood. Machine Operation : Operate CNC routers (such as the HOMAG) to cut, drill, and route panels based on

specific job packets. Technical Documentation : Read and interpret cut lists and CAD designs generated by software like

Cabinet Vision to ensure parts are produced to the correct dimensions. Quality & Accuracy : Inspect finished parts for
