Construction Rigger

About the Role

Rigger Position Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks a Rigger for a project in Durham, NC. Select cables, ropes,

pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved. Attach pulley and blocks to

fixed overhead structures, such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms with bolts and clamps. Attach load with grappling

devices, such as loops, wires, and chains to crane hook. Give directions to Crane Operator engaged in hoisting and

moving loads to ensure safety of workers and material handled, using hand signals, loudspeaker, or telephone. Set up,

brace, and rig hoisting equipment, using hand tools and power wrenches. Splice rope and wire cables to make or repair
