Office-Dispatcher/Communications Specialist Title: Office-Dispatcher/Communications Specialist Location: Ahoskie, NC
Dispatchers are responsible for obtaining and processing requests for ambulance and wheelchair transportation,
determining nature/urgency of the calls, dispatching the appropriate level units and personnel, scheduling and input of
future appointments, facilitating information flow between administrative staff and field personnel, and maintaining
close contact with field crews to monitor the status of each transport. The Dispatcher position requires skilled
individuals who are focused and team oriented, possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent written and verbal
