About the Role

Job Title An employee in this class will be responsible for fueling school buses, changing and mounting tires, checking

fluid levels in buses, operating wreckers, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities

Refills truck at the end of each day. Responds to offsite fuel outages and provide needed vehicle services. Assists

mechanics with their thirty (30) day inspections. Assists mechanics in the maintenance of vehicles on their assigned

routes and in the shop. Operates wrecker and tows school system vehicles. Is aware of and understands pertinent OSHA

requirements. Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation. Examine tires
