Part-Time Solid Waste Department Continuous Closing Date General Statement of Duties An employee in this class operates

heavy equipment to load solid waste into trailers, packing the waste down, leveling the trailer, and covering the waste.

Operation of the equipment at the Transfer station, work includes maintaining the work area and managing the storage

areas with emphasis on the variety of solid waste materials delivered. Work includes performing preventative maintenance

of equipment. Employees perform work in accordance with established safety rules and regulations. Work is performed
