About the Role

All Aboard! If you've always wanted to drive a real train, and you love kids, the outdoors, and science, the Museum of

Life and Science in Durham invites you to apply to be a Part-Time Train Driver. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and

customer focused, with a desire to support the Museum's mission by providing a safe and engaging ride according to the

highest standards of safety while providing excellent customer services to riders and other guests. Responsibilities:

Providing a safe and entertaining train ride to all visitors Driving the train, ticket taking, loading / unloading

guests, answering questions and delivering a scripted safety speech before the ride Ensuring the safety of riders
