Welder / Welding / Fabrication Welder

About the Role

Perform a wide variety of metal fabricating and welding operations, both manual and robotic requiring the use of mig,

tig, and stick as well as acetylene welding equipment and a variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, and other

required clamps, jigs, fixtures, etc. Machinery that maybe used includes Bandsaws, Drill Presses, Milling Machines, etc.

  List what the person must do to perform the job to meet standards. Must be able to use and interpret drawings and

specifications Sets-up, adjusts, and operates welding and fabricating equipment Uses clamps, scribes, braces, hoist, and

other holding devices when needed Welds in all positions as required Selects the proper voltage, amperage, and gas
